Day 2 - Sat 26 Sep: Dubai to Dusseldorf

We landed 10 min ahead of schedule but we're not allocated an aero bridge so had to catch a bus across the airport to Terminal 3 (why they don't park the plane nearer to the terminal I don't know) and that took another 15 min. Again, I did not panic as I knew I had 3 hours to make my connection. Having been through Dubai a number of times now, I'm getting pretty good at getting to the Emirates lounge and was there in record time. Traveling on your own has some advantages in that you can just walk without having to worry that you might be losing someone.  First order of business was to have a shower, so I lined up for that, which didn't take long. After a lovely refreshing shower, second business was a decent breakfast, which was not hard to achieve in this amazing lounge.  It was then time to make my way to the departure lounge, board the plane and be on my way.
